The National Vietnam Veterans Museum is proud of its association with Vietnam Veterans everywhere. Founded by Vietnam Veterans, nurtured by the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia for many years, and now an independent Museum, NVVM plans to incorporate a new Veteran Program to further develop its links and support of Veterans from any service.
One step forward has been to the opportunity to offer veterans membership in the new Friends of the NVVM organisation. In this way veterans can directly support their own heritage and legacy as Friends is specifically designed to help preserve, protect and exhibit the collection, but also be recognised for it. Friends now have about 100 members including 35 Life Members – one, a former National Serviceman gunner (Vietnam 1968-69), and the other a sapper (Vietnam 1968-69) – along with the first unit associations as corporate members. welcome more veterans
